Hello everyone. I am completly new to this planting stuff and it's all quite confusing. I have no idea really where to start. What can i sow now, indoors or out? Any help would be hugely helpful. Thanks :?

hiya hayley its down to garlic and  japanese onion sets now .stsrt looking at picking up some seed bargains from woolies and the pound ,shops garden centres etc ,get everything ready for spring and your gonna be straining at the leash to get going  :wink:

broad beans!  I've only just sown varieties The Sutton, Aguedulce and Bunyards Exhibition, but I'm sure the sowing season for these extends into November!

Sow Broad beans Aquadulce Claudia, Peas feltham First

Plant garlic Shallots overwintering onions

Bit late fer owt else

Anyway welcome to the forum

And of course, you can think of other perennials, like soft fruit and fruit trees to plant during the gloomy months.  If you are lucky to find some asparagus, you can plant those up as well. :)
