We are growing in large barrels and black bins for carrots all at different stages but our florence whenever you turn your back is at the biggest stroking the carrot tops. ( if i get the carrot root fly i'll know why)

I said to her earlier, leave the carrots alone to which she said " me love carrots, i tickle tickle them" lol bless her heart i'll end up with no carrots worth having but how can i stop her.

Its just the feel she hasnt yet pulled any green off, she just tickles them  :D

I was sort of hoping that the fact they are half empty tubs may work as a barrier but stroking them just attracts the fly doesnt it. Seems such a shame to stop her shes rather fixed on touching them non stop. I wont be saying that when the carrots are all manky will i  ::)
