There is a chicken day at Harveys Garden Plants in Bury St Edmunds on 10th May 9-30-4-30pm. Just thought it might be of interest to novices like me living nearby. I'm really hoping to go.

Talking of such - i posted your eggs today babe!! Was so exciting wrapping them up and the nice post office man put an extra 'fragile' sticker on them - I would have though my three were enough but it was nice of him! Hope they get there in one piece.

No, their not, looks like just an info day, as the people who own the
garden centre keeps chooks, good idea though,  a couple of poultry clubs
will be there & you can buy chook accessories, feeders etc.

and bluebell wants a hat,  a straw one with a row of daisies around the brim and a pink chiffon ribbon to tie under her chin

Yes, Jelly, we are, we need to all agree on a date...........I'm all for July, but could make anytime really, would be cheaper outside of the school holidays, when is it convenient for you Jelly? & how many can you accomodate in one go?
