frames and netting??
« on: May 20, 2009, 14:12 »
Hi

I'm thinking of making some frames to place over my plot to protect from cabbage white and birds. How do people net things off?

Do you leave a flap so you can get to the plants or is it best to have a frame that can be completely removed (lifted up) to get to the plants? also how tall should they be?

I've got loads of 2x1 and netting just dunno how best to make them.

Thanks

Here are my two methods.

Balls on sticks.

Blue water pipe.

Cheese makes everything better.

Yes, but just make sure they're not looking when you nick them!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Yes you can and they look lovely, all sparkly and colourful too.

Check the size of the parent before you steal the hoops from the kids first. ;)
