Pics of my Peppers, Toms & Aubs
« on: June 12, 2009, 13:56 »
I'm really amazed with how these are doing so I wanted to share some photos :)

I've got three red toms, with lots more green ones:

Peppers are growing like crazy, I think that's a chocolate one (mixed pack so guessing colour)

We've already had about 8/9 red peppers off this one already. The ones that are going red now are the second batch and there are flowers/mini peppers for a third batch coming through.

And a chili

This is my aubergine, I'm not quite sure what's going on with the one near the bottom. I think the flower might have had two stamens (?) and now it's growing an odd shaped wide aubergine.

Thanks :D

The tomato was sown 16/2, then kept inside until a couple of weeks ago.
The long red pepper was sown November (so it's quite far ahead). The others were sown mid Feb. Peppers seem to start quite slowly but then once they've got a few leaves you turn your back one day and they are giant! That's only 3/4 months from sowing seed to peppers growing so still plenty of time.
The aubergine was beginning of Feb, it's a dwarf one though so I imagine they develop a bit quicker than normal sized ones.
