Well while it was nice and sunny, I thought I would start turning the compost heaps. Lovely rich dark compost in the bottom of one of the old heaps....and a load of huge potatoes! Nice and healthy looking, none of the pesky wireworm we are  normally plagued with.
Have chopped them up ready for a buttery mash later on with chicken wrapped in ham and gorgonzola yummm!!!!!

Nature really can surprise us at times. I've always found that the unplanned spuds that grow over winter always turn out the best and nicest. Hope you find more, foxy.
