I've been talking about cacti on another thread.  Here's some peculiar ones of mine and my OH.





If you know what they are you can let me know cause they're crazy.  The wide one is getting so heavy its toppling over.  I've repotted it and planted it deeper.  So far its working.

I love cacti too. Unfortunately my dh doesn't. I used to have a few at my parents house when younger, but they got disposed of when they moved to France!! Now we have a greenhouse on the lottie with a little shelf in it.......  I may sneak one or two in!!!!!  :wink:

Hi, I think these are both Opuntias and if they are you can feed them to tortoises!

Well, I luckily had 2 Cacti flowering at the same time and attempted to cross ploinate. I just took a damp baby bud to transfer pollen. Is there Male and Felmale, or species compatability problems I might want to know about? What do the seed pods look like?
