Did anyone grow these last year? and were they honestly blight resistant?

They seem dearer and I don't mind paying if they will do what they say.. but if not I'll take my chances with Wilko specials!!

Dundry Nurseries 'taterbase' is only half working at the moment, but PJ does not come back in a search of blight resistant varieties for first earlies.

These people also think that PJ do not have high blight resistance..

http://www.wcf-phoenix.co.uk/potatopicker/variety.asp?VarietyID=49

You have to remember that being first early, you could well have them out of the ground before blight becomes evident in late summer.

For main crop Sarpo Mira are highly recommended.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Sally A - is Taterbase not working for you either - i.e. you can't chose a specific spud from the main page.

If you do a search on low blight resistance - PJ is right in there!

I was given a handful Golden Wonder seed potatoes (from a reliable source) which I believe was supposed to be blight resistant.  They got blight.

The keywords are 'blight resistant' not 'blight proof'.

Last year it was very virulent.
