There's no restrictions on our plots, apart from the fact you can't plant trees. Mrs D's plot always gets admired, "she's" grown roses, cosmos, sunflowers, asters, dahlias, cornflower, gaillardia, poppies...........
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

You HAVE to grow Night Scented Stock, especially if you are there in the early evening.

It's an amazing plant and a FANTASTIC and BEAUTIFULLY scented flowers. I've bought loads of seeds and give them out to friends. They should also be used more in public displays.

And jasmine, I like jasmine  8)

:D  Giant nicotiana is glorious in the evening too.  I'm intending to give over a large portion of my plot to flower growing this year.  I dream of having fresh flowers in every room in the house, 'just like me ma did' - I can't see anyone on the site complaining, they're an easy-going bunch.

Ooh I love Jasmine, I have a plant outside the back door so I can smell it in the summer, I love it when I'm on holiday and you go out at evening and can smell it everywhere you go.

Many thanks for all your replies, we went down to the garden centres this afternoon and bought many packets of seeds that was advised on this thread, thanks for all your help. Should have a nice section of flowers later on in the year, fingers crossed.
