It looks to be in a similar condition to the one I recently took over, some people are just born lucky!  Except mine had two huge brambles on it but they were cultivated ones rather than the random wild growing ones.  I have now dug over around half of a 10'x12 bed, only another 5 and a half beds to go, plus the fencing, path making and general stuff.
Cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.

Yes we were lucky, only had last years weeds on it. Has taken a lot of work to get it to the condition it is in now. It is rewarding when the old boys say it looks good. We have a judge on the next door plot and his is in a real state. What gets me is he is on the comittee that sent out a letter saying plots can be taken away if they are left to go to ruin. Politics even in allotments. :?

Still what do I know lol??? I am a newbie.

Good to hear you can get stuck in straight away. Had my plot 6 months now and still clearing brambles and couch grass! :(
