Title: Home made Chilli
Post by: Armleywhite on July 23, 2013, 10:09
Made a chilli last night and so so chuffed that all the raw wet ingredients were mine, all grown from seed :) :)

Onion, Garlic, Chilli's and Toms all from my own stock.  Nowt special I know, but i was like a cheshire cat making it last night.

It's a great  feeling isn't it. You get a warm glow from knowing that it's all from your own hands, especially if you cooked it as well  :)

Next project is to grow (and store where required) everything for Christmas Winter Festival dinner! :D

Cheers,   Tony.

Thing is, no one in the rest of the family like the beans, so I use dried beans and a packet of dried lasts an absolute age.

Made it all myself.  Dried marjoram used, so next year i'll grow some fresh for the pot :)

As to Christmas dinner, sprouts, swede, green beans, spuds and cauli should be fine and dandy by then.  :) loving this growing lark, well, at least while everything is going good.
