If you remember  this thread, maybe you'd post your results.

Just remembered this Livvy! Ooops

The last year's parsnip seed nearly all germinated (at least 95%).

They were sown in paper pots in threes or fours, and planted out 9 inches apart, in three rows a foot apart, about four weeks ago under cloches. It seems all have survived, but they're still in their little groups of three or four, as I want to thin them to the strongest.

I took the cloches off yesterday, (the only rain we've had for ages was just starting), and hope they don't mind the rougher weather...

They're 'Albion', and last year, the best grew to about 18" and weighed quite a bit too. Others went forked (my fault - liquid manure at the wrong time, and a dry spring)!
