Yes, but if I tried to peel and chop a large quantity of onions for freezing, all in one go, my eyes would be sore for a week. I have the same problem with onion soup

Shokky, have you any kind of a food processor?

Mine has a slicing attachment, or else i just check them in and whizz them a bit.

Saves the eyes.
