Morning  all .

               Just a quick question about my rhubarb , I planted it in Feb
               and it has done ok just left it to get on with growing, But
               It seems to have started coming again . Is this normal.

I wouldn't say it's normal, but the crowns on Mrs. D.'s plot are sprouting. They did this last year. They came with the plot so I don't know what variety they are, they seem to stand the frost & we had rhubarb weeks before anyone else.

Very odd its a young plant in its first year . I didn't pull any stems in the
 summer . Just mulched with manure a couple of weeks ago.

The crowns on early varieties of rhubarb do start to swell up at this time of year. Mine have even got a few small leaves, but they don't really get going until February. They are definitely the earliest fruit of the season!

Sounds good to me It is Victoria , Should be some nice crumble come
 the spring .
