Should I change their food?
« on: December 27, 2010, 18:50 »
Hi there

I have got 2 ex-batts that I have had for 18 months or so.  They have both stopped laying.  I am still feeding them layers pellets.  Should I change this for something else?  They get corn and greens and the occasional meal worm.

Either your girls have come to the end of their laying days which is probable considering their age or they will start laying again within the next few weeks. What you are feeding them is just fine. It is what they are used to and has all the ingredients for them to remain healthy. If they have indeed finished laying for good they will now be able to enjoy their retirement with you.
