once i dig up my early spuds in june/july,what could i have ready grown on in pots and would be suitable to go in at this time in this space?

I put my tomatoes in last year which you're not supposed to because of blight - but where else was I supposed to put them?
They did allright until the blight got them but we got loads of toms and everybody else got blight anyway.
You could put your leeks in, or things like purple sprouting broccolli, chard etc which will overwinter.

I follow mine with sweetcorn and courgettes.  They're all heavy feeders but it works fine.
