Title: Back on the allotment.
Post by: accy man on August 22, 2020, 21:24
Greetings to all allotmenteers,
I have recently got an allotment after being out of the scene for twenty years, it was the usual wilderness / rubbish tip, when i signed the agreement, but after 5 weeks of hard graft and a lot of weed removal we (my son and I) are getting there. I have just harvested some radish planted on week 1 and I must say we are pleased with the results. We are currently preparing beds for next season, though we have planted potato, carrot, late lettuce, and cabbage, all of which are showing signs of growth. The shed is up as well as a polytunnel so we should be ready for next year. I am looking forward to reading posts and gleaning advise from your good selves. Thank you for time and accepting me on the forum, all advise, tips and guidance will be gratefully received.

Hi and welcome  :)

You seem to have done a lot of work for only having the plot for 5 weeks,  Keep it up and you will have it all well under control .... maybe ...  I have to admit I have never quite achieved that
