A friend living in Coventry has reported her lovely Robinia is dying as are many in her neighbourhood.

Has anyone else the same problem?

Mine is ok, but they do die back earlier than many deciduous trees. The leaves have yellowed and some are beginning to fall. Most of the other types of tree nearby are way off their autumn colours.

My Dad had same problem, having cut out the problem areas (half the tree) it has bounced back on 2 or 3 occasions. Had to give it a mjor prune last year to avoid phone line coming into house.

Robinia can suffer from die back in immature specimens. If you can keep them going until they are mature they tend to be OK.
Coral spot can also be an issue sometimes.
