Title: cucumber problem?
Post by: julietmaria on June 07, 2011, 23:29
I have 3 cucumber plants in my greenhouse and all have been doing well.  However I noticed today that ALL the cucumbers on the larger of the plants have these beige indents of various sizes mostley in thin lines.  Looking at pictures on google it does not look like anything on there.  I have just been away for a week and wonder if it could be a lack of water?   The other two plants are fine.  I have the plants in a boarder in the greenhouse with black weed material over the bed to help keep moisture contained and also bottles inserted through to get the water down to the roots.  Or does this sound like the beginning of something awful   Tomorrow I will cut of and dispose of all the cucumbers on this plant - or should I get rid of the whole plant   Hope one of you might know what I have.  Thanks in advance, Juliet
