Sweet William
« on: August 16, 2011, 10:35 »
I have tried and failed to grow sweet william - now have 4 scrawny plants left  :(
Some online sellers are offering plug plants. If i buy some of these is there still time for them to put on enough growth to get some decent flowers for next spring.
I would like them for cut flowers rather than garden display.
I do know how small plug plants are as I have just taken delivery of tiny pansies!

Thanks for your help

Elaine
