I can't find an easy link to a tomato database. The seed packets are unhelpful (yes, I have already looked at them! :D ).
Do I need to pinch out the sideshoots on Inca and Roma tomatoes?
Ta :)

I believe they are both bush types so no. :)
-
I have grown both of them in the past as bushes, so no pinching out done here;)
-
Jolly good

I originally read that inca were bush tomatoes, but the ones I've got in the greenhouse are taller than the cordon ones next to them!
I've had to stake and tie them!
-
I found Incas to be rampant and untrainable.... just like your average man :nowink:
They also respond well to being tied up :).........the men, not the Incas!
-
My Incas are tied up, but Brian keeps escaping!

Well, I suppose I could tie them up and just pretend they're a man ...
Perhaps not, on reflection ::)

I've never grown Incas, but I always grow Romas. As said, I never pinch them out, only start to remove some lower branches as they gain height. This is to give good air flow to prevent diseases as well as a clear area for watering the root area rather than spraying the whole plant.
And yes, I've had to stake my Romas as well, mostly because I add lots of chicken poop each fall. Oddly, this year has been almost drought-like for me, and despite watering with the hosepipe when I can (we're on a well) and which isn't often, I've got the biggest crop of toms coming this year. In fact, I think I'll have to give away part of my harvest as I'll have more than I can possibly use from 12 plants.
As for Brian, Grannie, tie him with poly baler twine. He'll never chew through that stuff  It's what I tie my toms with and they haven't yet escaped.

Roma last year Inca this, tied up, no pinching. :)

I grew Roma last year but they took over the greenhouse, so this year I have two Incas in the greenhouse pinched out and a couple outside doing their own thing. I suppose if I had the space I would let them run rampant, but I am very limited.
