Chicken goujons, onion rings and hash browns.    Bad diet I know but we've both been through the mill and this is what we fancied, plus it used bits   up from the freezer .

We're behaving this evening and having a fish pie with some haddock we found in the little freezer.  Plenty of cheese on top of course.  It's nice to be naughty sometimes and eat things you shouldn't but we mustn't do it too often.

Homemade curried parsnip soup with a sprinking of freshly grated black pepper and a side of 3 slices of a sourdough boule slapped with Lurpak butter!

Salmon fillets finished a glaze made from equal quantities of quince jelly and balsamic vinegar.  Served over couscous with roasted veg.

M & S ready meal as a 'treat'.  Giant Yorkshire pudding with beef casserole.  (not my choice).  I had some vouchers that needed using up before they expired so called in on our way home.  Also got some lamb for Sunday and several 'reduced' items to put in the freezer.
