Griddled Halloumi cheese with a warm potato salad.   We worked out the cheese has been in the freezer since last summer so really needs eating up.  The idea was to empty the little freezer but the little shop round the corner had Kingsmill bread, white and brown, reduced to 13p a loaf so got two of each.

Paul got a spag bol from the reduced section for 50p. Good bargain I thought, absolutely not. More spag than bol and no taste to the bol.   It was hot and filling and for 50p it filled a gap.  The garlic bread from the freezer made it taste better as did the grated cheese on the top.  Will give that one a miss if we see it again.

As mentioned before the lamb leg steaks we   got in M & S with roast potatoes, broccoli, leek and peas (just for me).   Sticky toffee cheesecake to follow (reduced, looked better than it tasted and won't bother again).
