Happy New Weather Year!

Ours is not that happy yet.  It has been raining all night, but is finally letting up and I can even see little glimpses of blue sky

Dry!  The sun has broken through the cloud, a bit of a breeze and I've put washing on the line.

Still very damp but it stopped raining late yesterday. The temperature has dropped to 4c probably due to the clears skies. We have a bit of winter sunshine which is nice change after all the dark grey gloom of late.

A hard frost for us this morning and beggar me it's cold!!! It's forecast for rain in a couple of hours so I hope it doesn't turn into an ice rink out there!

Oh look - more rain, more drizzle, more grey and more miserable darkness, and although it's +7c it feels freezing even with the heating on. Meh

Here, it is 7C, grey and misty, but no rain so far - it's forecast for later 
Wind seems to be picking up a bit, as well now.

It's sunny with azure skies, and 25 C . . . somewhere that is on the opposite side of the planet from here. 

Here, at least it's not cold (19 C) but with gray skies, drizzling rain, and tonight and tomorrow a strong cold front that is forecast to bring the threat of tornadoes.  Following the cold front it will be . . . well, COLD.  Not as bad as before Christmas, but I'm not breaking out the sun screen and flip-flops any time soon.  Hello January.

Yesterday wasn't too bad - grandson was trying out his binoculars and tripod to be an astronomer after dark - it's pitch black in our back fields - no streetlights

Today was cold, grey, wet and windy.. same is forecast for the week

+11c but otherwise exactly the same. There's also a very nasty cutting cold wind from the west.  I don't recall ever being so fed up with the miserable greyness of the weather as I have been over the last 12 months.

Looks to be blowing well, can’t be too cold as I’ve opened windows to air upstairs! Forecast says cloud & sun around 4pm, but there’s a bit of brightness coming from over the bottom fence. Will probably rain as soon as I set foot outside.
