Hello everyone!  I thought I should put something in the newbies group to say hello again as it's been a few years since I was last here!

HI Aunty! I'm good! thank you 

I've just stepped down from our allotment committee which I've chaired for the last 5 years so I should have time to get back to basics on my own plot. 

I started a gardening club at our allotments because when I started the waiting list was about 5 people.  We thought we were inundated when we had 8 people, but now it's nearer to 60 people waiting!  The gardening club are people on the waiting list who may not have a plot for a few years and it upskills them and keeps them interested in the meantime, and they keep me busy enough 

Have you been keeping this lot in order?

That gardening club sounds like a brilliant idea. 

The folk on here are easy to look after… it’s Worzel that gives me trouble (bless him).
