Hello!  I have six, 20-week-old hens and one of them is laying 2 eggs at a time with soft shells.  I'm not certain which hen it is though.  All six hens appear very healthy and energetic.  The other hens that are laying have VERY hard shells so I don't believe it is a lack of calcium in their feed.  Will this issue resolve itself?  Is there anything I can do?

when hens first come into lay they sometimes produce double yolkers  as for the soft shell i would give it a few weeks to see if it settles down maybe try to find which hen it is  good luck.
