For several years now I have thought about a new family member, I love springer's, mad, energetic just like me,wife always said no 

To my surprise last night both my wife and two daughters came in while I watching footy, my time 
"dad can we have dog"?
Joking I said "yea, needs to be a springer tho (knowing full well that will be the last of it)"
Ok... "what about these springers"
 
Big possibility the new mad family member may be coming after all in early March

A day to remember, Aidy

Well we had a chat with the breeder, he invited us round to view the boys (social distance of course) outside.
We had a chat, he trains gun dogs and has bred Labs but never Spaniels, first time. He showed us the paper work of his dogs, it appears grandad was an Irish gun champ and Grandma was a English champ so by all accounts good pedigree, we also met mum and she was lovely.
So come March the 6th we pick up...

Oh my goodness - Lake is a picture of beauty.  I just love spaniels.

How did you choose the name “Lake” Aidy ?

We keep our mobile caravan in storage at a farm, they also have a caravan site which of course we use a lot, some friends put us on to it a few years back.
They also put some other friends onto it and we met them last year, they have a cocker called.... River
So me daughter suggested Lake as they will be fingers crossed good friends.

Nearly there, so so so excited, we have now put all our furniture into storage ready 
Everything is in place, he has been chipped, vax's booked.

Counting the hours down, 12 pm on saturday and he will be picked up.
