Mine like the rain, plenty of tasty worms surface for them. 

Obviously I have delicate girls who, like the Eliabethan ladies, 'are feared to go out in the  rain lest their colours do run.'

Or as we say in our house, 'Ah, they're  special!

I have 4 hardy Black Rocks and 2 senseless Bovan Goldlines who don't like getting wet as much.  My 2 new Partridge Wyandotte Bantams have yet to be let out in the rain but they came from a farm where they free ranged all day so should be ok.
