hello everyone,any rain out there yet ............... 

Do any of you know which variety of pumpkin I should grow to produce the dark green seeds I buy in packets in the shops? We eat so many,it would be good to grow some ourselves !

I`m growing Pumpkin Jack this year,free on the front of a magazine.

Lady Godiva is the one that springs to mind, as it has naked seed. Funny which ones you remember isn't it

not sure about the green seeds (maybe its in the way they are dried/cooked?) but I grew neon F1 last year and had some lovely halloween sized pumpkins.. they had loads of seeds in too

also Baby Bear have "naked" seed

some squashes produce seed without the husks so no need to mess around trying to de-husk them
