ALKO Cultivator MH350-4 Advice
« on: May 28, 2008, 10:25 »
I have an Alko Cultivator MH350-4.    I've used it many times with my father in law (deceased).   I did the donkey work, he provided the fuel and maintained it.   I want to use it but have no idea of what fuel to use.   Is it a 4-Stroke so no oil needed in fuel?   Is unleaded OK?   What general maintenance does it require?   All advice appreciated.

IF you know it is a four stroke, then your looking at changing the oil once a year, new spark plug , clean and re oil the air filter ( if it's a foam element rather than a paper one) adjust the belts, oil the cables, grease the grease points(if there are any-modern machines tend not to have any) and clean the machine down before putting it away, that sort of thing.
unleaded is fine, try not to leave any in it after you have stopped using it for the year ( petrol goes "off")
