where can i buy a ridger in the uk? looked in mosr good garden centres etc.

or are they possibly refered to by another name?

There is one done by Wolf in their Multi-Star interchangeable hand tool range.

In both the garden at home and the slightly larger work garden I tend to ridge up Potatoes using a swan neck draw hoe pulling soil up to each side of the row to create the ridge..it is possible to work 2 rows in from one direction..then turn round and pull up the first from the other direction then work alternate sides of rows along the patch...thus stepping off the far end of the Potato patch leaving all done and no footmarks....hard to describe...but something I have done for many years. :)...
