Post by: rowlandwells on October 13, 2010, 15:58
hi all never had any luck with growing Chinese cabbage there are many varieties to choose from i think i will have another try next year i could do with a little help on this topic  :(

i set my Chinese cabbage seed in trays and picked out into modules then they all bolted is it best to sow the seed directly into a prepared bed very thinly and then thin out without much disturbance and at what time of the year is best looking at growing a variety called Wong Bok its not an F1 any sound advise gratefully received ::)

How about buying (or borrowing from the library) Joy Larkcom's Oriental Vegetables book? It has a lot of advice about them, including Chinese cabbage.
