Raffles was very poorly with a brain injury, even the vet didn't hold out much hope for her, she stayed in my bedroom for ages recovering, she snuggled up to the cats because she thought she must be a cat
(at one point she was wrapped in a towel and wedged between my pillows because she wouldn't settle, bit unnerving to turn over and find two beady eyes staring at you
) since she went back outside with all the others she's forgotton her former life as a house chicken
now she's just one of the garden gang.....................
we always look out for her and woe be tide any cockerel that fancies his chances, we always get to her first
