I agree that you've done the right thing. I know from experience you give them every chance but they don't change. It is for the best :(

Thank you for not condemning me for what I did, it really upset me to have him dispatched, I kept wondering what else I could've done.

As I said, he didn't go quietly, but the guy who did the deed gave me the impression he knew how to do it - he didn't and, much as Bollox needed to go, I wanted it to be quick & stress-free. Although I know the theory behind dispatching I want to learn how to do it properly. Never again do I want to see a bird suffer a slow death   :( :(

As Bollox's final revenge I discovered when plucking him that he'd got lice, so I'll have to get that sorted with Patches and the other girls! ... not only vicious but lousy as well! I'll certainly think twice before buying from auction again.....
