 Very funny.  I garden in my dressing gown and nightie, I also collect all the fallen branches off the road to burn on my fire (Free heating)!! - I am totally shameless.  My neighbours gave up hope a long time ago

id rule out any infection and consider that her insides have seperated from the spinal column and that she will be fine ,she may not lay anymore but no worries the other thing it could be is age and a layer of fat dropping down ....

LOL!! pookey! I would do exactly the same with the wood, waste not want not :-)
and Ive been known (as im sure most of us have) to garden with a torch, though had to knock the coffee in the morning in m dressing gown on the head, my neighbour's a right nosy old * and keeps popping his head over the fence
grrrrrrr he drives me mad!!! I was going to put up some trellis, because he wont accept slightly higher fencing, he says it will block his sun??(a foot higher and we get the sun all day)
wonder if he'll fall for it? (oh its just for sweet peas officer :-)
"I think the carrot infinitely more fascinating than the geranium. The carrot has mystery. Flowers are essentially tarts. Prostitutes for the bees. There is, you'll agree, a certain je ne sais quoi oh so very special about a firm young carrot" Withnail and I

I'm not good with neighbours either - I reported our last lot to the rspca who came and confiscated their cat.  My current neighbours are 2 acres away so not managed to pee them off yet!  I also had some neighbours who thought my husband was hitting me and they came round to see if I was okay when he was out one day - I have a deaf cat who screams really oddly and they thought it was me screaming!!!!!  Try and explain that one to doubters.

Shes not even a year old.  insides seperating the spinal column sounds serious???  Is that common.

Aunt Sally is the Gillian McKeeth of the hen forum. All this going round in your dressing gown reminds me of a time when we bought a dog and she was infested with worms. In the garden it was just like seeing an empty can of heinz spaghetti on the lawn. Every time she went to the loo Id go out sometimes in night attire , with some white spirit and set fire to the little *. One neighbour did think we were performing some weird rite as little fires were appearing all over the grass.
Oh for those halcyon days of England long ago

no the insides seperate from the spinal column .they a5re held there by tissue is all and sometimes they can detach if the bird lands badly ,bit like tearing a ligament,, as for the age the chucks carry fat anyways ,, with all those treats u ladies give them,, worry not
