the majority of people on here use flubenvet and whilst you are using this you can still eat the eggs which is good news. Yes I would worm them all now and then again in 3 or 4 months time  :)
Staffies are softer than you think.

I buy mine from my vets but yes you can buy it on line however shop around as it can vary a lot in price (from about £14 including postage [this is also what my vet charges me] upto around £28 ).

hi, yes looked it up and found cheapest to be £14.52p this is a feed wormer, was thinking of maybe one i can add to there water, just that some birds eat more than the others and not sure if they will all get treated? but will try it maybe.

never used one that you add to water (and the same would apply - some drink more than others). Flubenvet is proven to work, is licenced for poultry and in my opinion the best to use  :)

I tried a worming treatment that is added to the water.  It obviously tasted bad because the chickens refused to drink it.   ::)  If I could find flubenvet around here I would use it.

I wouldn't worry about some eating more than others, as the bigger ones eat more, they get more flubervet, but need more because they're bigger.

As long as you've treated enough food for the week and they don't eat anything else, you're sorted.

I used to mix the flubenvet into their stew which worked ok. Then they went off it! Now I'm slightly dampening their afternoon corn and sunflower seeds and mixing it in.
Works a treat because they all have some.....

for some reason they always give me a discount - don't know why but I'm not complaining  :D. However they don't have the bigger sized tubs which I did ask about (and would have thought you might want). :D

i am a fan of flubenvet, you can buy it in a tub and mix it yourself or buy it ready mixed in layers pellets..

if you mix it yourself i find adding a little veg oil to the layers pellets helps the wormer stick to the pellets and not drop off...

keeps 1 colubian black tail, 1 light sussex, 1 speckled maran, a 3 new chicks

My wife uses Flubenvet when worming her chickens, she adds it to their morning feed of layers meal which she makes into a porridge and feeds first thing in the morning as soon as she lets them out the houses.
She swears by it.
