The paper & seeds have to be picked up from Tesco or WH Smith
............I'm out.

I think the carrot seeds are free inside the paper on Saturday and then the other types to be collected with your newspaper purchase from Tesco/WHSmith from Sunday on.... That is their usual MO for multi-day giveaways anyway. :)

Nope you don't have to buy the paper there...just collect the seeds from those stores. We've been doing similar this week with the Mirror's Mr Men books for our son. Our main shop is done at Tesco then we nip over to Morrisons & collect the books :)

Or you can get the whole set of 13 packets by post for £4.99 & 4 tokens.

Ooh but I wouldn't buy the paper elsewhere and then waltz into Tesco for my free seeds...  couldn't do that!  ::)

Title: Daily Mail Seeds Giveaway
Post by: ex-cavator on April 13, 2011, 22:23
I know it's late in the day, but I just went down to T***o's & I saw a box containing packets of free seeds courtesy of The Daily Mail. All the papers were sold but the seeds were left - an assistant said by all means take my free packet of Fothergill's Cabbage seeds - so I did  ;)

I don't know if there's more to come during the week?

my daughter works in W H Smiths and they always have loads left over when things are being given away, she bought me home 5 packs of beetroot, 5 packs of spring onion, 3 leeks, 3 cabbage and parsley and basil (not sure how many, she left them in the car)

the daily star were giving away hula hoops a while ago and they had loads left over so i said bring them home i can use them like you would use blue piping over crops with netting, she brough 12 home, my 7 year old claimed 1 and the rest are at the plot waiting to be put to good use
