As well as the glut of almonds and grapes just now it's also pomegranite time. Can I feed the hens pomegranites? My lot seem to love anything that contains seeds and i wondered if they would be ok with the pomegranite seeds.

I can't imagine they would cause any problems for the chooks, we eat them, and chickens seem to eat anything we do, even if they have to steal it from us

I bet its lovely, warm,  holiday rain though! not the orrible, cold, wet, miserable, goes on for days rain we get here!

my girls love pomegranate seeds...i buy them from a*da for 99p and they love them......they give the littlest hen runny red poo tho...be warned!

its about 13 degrees here! i have a jumper on and its still september! think i was meant to live abroad as i hate the cold 

Hope your girls enjoy their pomegranates  my girls favourite is sweetcorn! they will literally take your hand off for it

Not everything we eat is safe for birds.
I also have a Amazon parrot and know that they can not eat advacados because these are poisness to them and can kill them
