sorry, I was using the mobile phone and the print is small!
The Spanish are not much better, a bit, but not much.  We are the only folk in our bit who give our dogs blankets to sleep on!  A neighbours 4 dogs (one a puppy) m has nothing, just under the  porch and they is only dry if the rain is going the opposit way!

its the same here , the belief here is that the animals have no soul so they dont get good treatment .
our dogs live inside with us andn are part of our family and when people asked where the dog stayed we said inside they looked at you funny as if you were dirty and slightly mad .
i  carnt tell you how much i cryed when rocky died and still have pangs .
its funny the song mad dogs and english men is very correct here they all think we are mad to waste some emotion on an animal to be honest i think they are more worthy than some humans i know .oh pam i must asked did you request me on facebook , a lady called pam and i dont reconise the surname has and i dont know your surname , there are no details so i carnt pin it down and i wont except till i know who it is .

yeah we can thank most religions for the no soul concept....to me if there was a heaven it would be hell if there were no animals .

update on the puppies , the woman who said they would love to have and keep the pups has handed them over to the local dog lady she changed her mind.
after all the gushing and changing their names just goes to show , well dog lady has them so she will find homes for them as they are small dogs easier to find homes for them .
i hoe they get good ones .

Just read your story, so sad.  Atleast you have less chance of coming across this where you are now.  Well done for all your efforts.  Good luck in your new home.   :D
