plant/ flower ID

My turn to ask the question. Can anyone identify this please? There is nothing like it in the surrounding fields so Im wondering if it came with some of the bird seed, if that helps.

Hi Yorkie. Yes it is just this seasons growth. The stems are not woody at all so I imagine it is annual. sorry the pic is a bit unclear but I had to reduce the quality so much to be able to post it here. I will try with a better one tomorrow. Also it is about a metre high.

Thanks G and R, from further online investigation it does indeed appear to be Niger. Has a quite attractive flower too so I will leave it be for the time being
