Agree with hensington but i think the white one is an amberlink! but you will soon know when she starts to lay as ambers lay light brown eggs and white stars lay white eggies

Sorry to hear about that Mark. Any idea what she died of? Good luck with your daughter.

NOt sure Aunty what she died of. There were a few spots of blood I noticed in the shed on the newspaper I line the floor with after I had taken her away and was cleaning up the shed. She had been alive just before tea and I found her only about an hour later laid out on the floor under the nest boxes which are a couple of feet off the floor. Whether she had trouble in the laying department because the egg in the box had quite a lot of blood on it.

Ha... the secret is to take as many photos as possible lol.  they'd be up bumbling around and I'd be snapping away then they'd flop down and I'd quickly snap a few more.

It was much easier when they wre just a few days old!

Now they are almost 7 weeks old they are a bit more lively!

I love them all to bits. When I get home from work they run the length of the garden to greet and say hello. Wonderful little creatures
