Hi All, first post here.

Not sure about the best way to photograph our hens, but here's two of the three. The garden is a right tip at the moment so no veggies yet.

Tilly

Does anyone have tips for photographing their chickens, or how to keep them still? I can't find anything that will make them stay.

Loving the pics, as for the best way to photograph them you just need patience and a fast shutter! If you just sit with them and keep snapping away you will get some good pics. They look young and flighty still, soon they will over come this with noseyness and will be round you all the time!  :D

Thanks for saying that, it gives me a bit of confidence!

That's some plot you have there! Longer and wider than our garden. We moved in around a year ago, the previous occupant hadn't touched the garden for around eight years. The owner before that installed some "interesting" concrete features, such as a "pond" and various interior walling etc. I'm well behind schedule and should have removed all the rubble and bits of building material (yet it is all still in a collected pile). The wonky path needs to be moved to the middle of the garden, (but I cannot lift those slabs alone). Agh! So very far away from getting the rotavator.

Tell me about it, we didn't know the size when we first got it as it was 'sold' to us as 2 plots as it was so overgrown. It is a huge task but is a little easier now 4 of us work it.  :D
