Courgettes

Is it best to grow courgettes direct in the ground or inside a greenhouse?

Can I still sow them now or is it to late this year

Thanks

I reckon you'd get away with a sowing.

Courgettes can grow huge, even outside. In my opinion they're a waste of greenhouse space that could be used for plants that prefer more warmth.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Once the soil has warmed up, they'll start just fine in the ground. you can start them now and still get a good crop, they grow fast.

Two or three plants is will produce more than a family of four can eat once they get going though so don't plant too many.
