Depends on your appetite!!!

I planted 10 purple sprouters & 10 white sprouters last year & could have done with more - but perhaps that's just me!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

How many of the small sprouting heads do you get per plant?
I planted 8 in my garden and they are huge already, only 4 really took off, thwe other 4 were too close and got smothered from light.  I am shocked at how big the are, I hope to get a reasonable amount ech plant for the size the are!! LOL

Remember that slugs / pigeons / rabbits / whatever will take their share too.  And it freezes very well if you have a surplus!

Too many to count really.

If they take off the plants get very large. I always space mine 2.5 feet apart.

Pigeons have eaten mine. I wouldn't mind it so much if they didn't behave as if they were in Tescos, strolling up and down my paths, choosing what they fancy.
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

I'm resigned to keeping them netted throughout. In fact, all brassicas on my plot require the same treatment. The problem isn't pigeons, seems mainly to be large black and white birds. Don't know what they're called. Maybe they're magpies???

Sounds like magpies, we have them down our plot, but it's not them that eat the plants, it's the woodies.

Oops, I may have a problem then. I've about 20 plants in one not very big bed. Might have to transplant at some point?

I find 4 plants enough, those little heads just carry on coming, the trick is to make sure that  you have a crop waiting to go in that space in April and I  guarantee that your broccoli will not stop sprouting!
