[Running bean]

I was wanting to plant some Rasberry's this Autumn and have just seen that from tomorrow Aldi will be selling fruit plants (9cm pots), including Autumn and Summer Raspberry for £1.79 each which seems cheaper than I have seen elsewhere. Can anyone advise if they are likely to be any good or would you buy elsewhere? Thank you

If they are potted and alive I don't see an issue. Sometimes the bareroot ones at the beginning of the year are a bit poor. The only thing to watch out for is correct labelling

Any plants I've bought in the past from Aldi haven't let me down. I bought Aubergines, Cucumber and Tomato ( as if I didn't have enough already !) and all are fruiting well. But the best time to get them is when they're fresh in as in the past they don't water the plants once they're instore, however last week I did actually see a member of staff watering the plants so maybe they're learning!

I bought a couple of black currant bushes from them and this is their second year and they were laden with really tangy juicy large fruits.

I bought 3 bare rooted raspberry canes from Aldi last year and they have been fabulous. Every time i walk down the garden path i pick and eat them.. so far i must have had a god few pounds and not one has made it into the kitchen.
I also got 3 gooseberry pants at the same time from Aldi and this year i got about 6lbs off them.
