               I really want to buy some used scaffold planks in central scotland but cant find
                  any anywhere, any ideas anyone?   cheers.

Is there no local scaffolding firms you could ring?  They have to change them every now and again and sell the old damaged ones off.

I'm guessing that you have tried ebay.  That's where I got mine from, even though they weren't that local the delivery charge was very reasonable.  As already mentioned you,could try scaffolding cos but I found them loathe to sell their old ones! Not sure what they did with them once they were past their best......

Have you tried your local freecycle sites? Sometimes it's worth a try.

If you see a site with scaffold up ask a builder on there I am sure they would point you in the right direction.
