One of my hens, Rosalee, laid a broken egg, im worried.

Does anyone know what i need to do with a chicken who looked a little out of sorts, then laid a broken egg. I only saw about a 3rd of the shell and the runny egg being laid. The shell was normal not soft.
I suspect this means the rest is still inside of her and her cloaca was pertruding a bit.

I love my girls and really want to do all i can. Unfortunately I had to go to work, but will go back as soon as I know what i can do.

Unfortunatly my vets do not cover poultry and i only have a haynes manual.

Any advise would be really appreciated. Thank you
