I'm so proud as we only got the lotty mid april and it was the usual weed ridden plot.

Yellow plums and they're rather nice. Its a shame I can't cook otherwise there'd be something other than stewed plums on the menu.

now it's stopped raining and the suns come out

forgot to take pics  but came home today with a bucket of runner beans, bucket of purple french type beans, two handfuls of peas, large bag french beans, 2 courgettes and a lovely bunch of cornflowers

will try and get some pics next time

I made a veggie lasagne....home grown tomatoes, onions, garlic, green pepper and chilli, courgettes and  a 4inch aubergine (next door's cat knocked it off  )

No pics, but yesterday I got two wonderful cucumbers and a handful of french beans (greet, yellow and purple)

brother in law came to visit us at lottie last night and went home with

1 marrow
2 courgettes
2 cucumbers
2 cabbages
loads of beetroot
few carrots
loads runner beans
loads french beans

oh, and an old car radio (which is what he came for  )
