I HAVE A HEN WITH A SWOLLEN STOMACH SOME FEATHERS HAVE FALLEN OUT AROUND THE SWOLLEN AREA .NONE OF THE OTHER 15 HENS HAVE ANY SYMPTOMS .CAN ANY ONE ADVISE CAUSE OR TREATMENT FOR THIS PROBLEM.

hello coachman, how old is your hen? is the swelling aound the crop area (chest area)? Does she have any other symptoms?
Please could you also knock you caps lock off as this is classed as shouting on the internet

welcome. sorry to hear of your poorly chookie, depending where swelling is, it could be a few things. If it is her crop, feel if it is hard, does her breath smell? look at sticky on how to empty crop. If it is low down, could she be eggbound? any discharge from her vent?  We really need more details to try and help you. even a piccie if at all possible.
