Those of you who followed the thread "Where's Anastasia  gone?" will remember that the little spangled Russian Orloff bantam who tried to hatch 18 eggs had 3 chicks some while ago.  See below link.

In fact that's almost 10 weeks ago and the chicks are now independent, have joined the rest of the coop and are doing well.  Like their mum and dad they are rovers and free range the garden unconstrained by the electric net which keeps in the rest of their house mates.

Here are some photos taken today on the back garden steps where I feed them so they don't over indulge on the layers the rest get.  There are just two of them in the shots with their mum & dad but in fact all three are just fine.  We think they are all hens through we're not quite sure yet there could be one cockerel.  here's hoping they are are all girls because we have three names for them if they are Olga, Tatiana, and Maria.
